Ibiza Music Forum, a new event

IBIZA MUSIC FORUM [IMFO]-is being launched and will be announced during the week of April 22nd to 28th, coinciding with the beginning of the season on the island of Ibiza.
Since its inception in 2024,[IMFO]has been dedicated to promoting the Ibiza brand not only through music, but also across various genres including art, culture, crafts, and leisure.
This initiative represents the true lifestyle that defines the philosophy of Ibiza, the White Isle. We proudly embrace our Balearic identity, celebrating music, art, culture, biodiversity, and the essence of Ibiza.

Foundational Objectives :

• To gain recognition for music-related activities, particularly electronic music, and its various aspects on the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.
• To preserve and professionalize the management of the islands’ musical, artistic, cultural, and environmental heritage.
• To serve as a primary platform supporting residents engaged in these activities in Ibiza and Formentera.
• To foster collaborative networks among participants, promoting recognition and increased local involvement.
• To advocate for the recognition of collaborating companies and regulations related to these activities.
• To promote training in these areas and provide resources for it.
• To contribute to a sustainable lifestyle on the islands, prioritizing and supporting environmental solutions, land conservation, and water, waste, and energy management.
• To offer technical and financial support to high-quality musical, artistic, cultural, and environmental projects.

Philosophy :

Throughout the years, various private initiatives have aimed to promote Ibiza from a commercial standpoint. However, IBIZA MUSIC FORUM [IMFO]acknowledges the underrepresentation of several associations and resident groups throughout the year on the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, which are vital components of our business and cultural environment. Therefore, a coalition of media, business figures, associations, and groups has united to emphasize that Ibiza is more than a marketing commodity for economic gain; it is a commitment to promoting and asserting the internationally renowned Ibiza Brand, showcasing art, culture, geography, and biodiversity.

This annual event highlights the best artists, producers, promoters, and companies in the music industry, elevating Ibiza as a global music capital season after season.

Association :

IBIZA MUSIC FORUM [IMFO]is a non-profit association based in Ibiza, encompassing various representative sectors. We work towards addressing common issues and serve as a unifying and coordinating body for all affiliated companies, associations, and groups. We strive to combat intrusiveness and promote ethical conduct within the industry.

The majority of our team members boast over 30 years of experience directly or indirectly linked to the music industry sector. We collaborate closely with public and private administrations, companies, and brands associated with the island, striving for excellence and harmonious coexistence with the local population.
