IMS Ibiza 2025 is set to delve deep into the rich history and vibrant present of Drum’n’Bass and Jungle, marking four decades of the genre’s profound cultural impact. The sixteenth edition of the summit, themed INTERGENERATIONAL EXCHANGE, will foster connections between different generations of the electronic music community, featuring insightful discussions and a special event at Akasha Ibiza.

This year, IMS Ibiza places an unprecedented focus on Drum‘n’Bass and Jungle, celebrating the genre’s evolution from its humble UK roots to its global influence. The summit will explore the genre’s cultural impact as both a movement and a community rooted in British multiculturalism.

Key Discussions and Panels

SHERELLE, a rising star, will engage in a conversation with a Jungle icon, exploring the lasting impact of club culture through a Drum’n’Bass lens.
FOUR DECADES OF JUNGLE & DRUM’N’BASS: THE MCS TO THE OGS TO THE NEW BREED will trace the genre’s journey, featuring DJ Krust, Julia Toppin, Keir Tyrer, Bailey, and Charlie Tee, moderated by Silvia Montello.
“TOO MANY MAN, TOO MANY MANY MAN” – GENDER PARITY PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE will address gender inclusion in the traditionally male-dominated Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass scene, with MC Chickaboo, Amy Jayne, Sarah Cole, Nicola Whiskey Kicks, and Julia Toppin.
FROM LOCAL TO GLOBAL – THE INTERNATIONAL EVOLUTION OF A VERY BRITISH GENRE will examine the genre’s global spread, featuring Maja Cicic, Chris Goss, Charlotte Kain, Duncan King, Ed Brew, and moderated by Rufy Ghazi.

To celebrate 40 years of Jungle and Drum’n’Bass, Akasha Ibiza will host a special event on Friday, April 25th, featuring legends and trailblazers of the scene, including Bailey, Charlie Tee, Krust, Lens, Mark System, and SHERELLE, hosted by MC Chickaboo.
